Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean and free of all loose material, oil residue, sealers or paints.

Mixing Instructions
Scratch Coat- In a pail, mix 2 litres Liquid Co-Polmyer with 7.5 litres of water, Mix for 2 minutes
Stamp Coat- In a pail, mix 2 litres Liquid Co-Polmyer with 7.5 litres of water, Mix for 2 minutes

Application Instruction
Apply a Primer Coat.
If you are going to apply the Vertical Overlay over a concrete or cement block surface, a Primer Coat will be required. Using a standard ½” nap paint roller, apply a liberal coat of Liquid Co-Polmyer at full strength (do not thin). Only prime the amount of area can be covered with Vertical Overlay that day. Allow the material to set and become tacky before applying the stamp coat. Do not allow the primer to dry more than 4 hours before applying the stamp material. If Primer Coat has dried too long, re-apply a fresh coat before applying the Vertical Overlay.

Apply a Scratch Coat.
If you are applying material over a wood, plaster or dry wall surface, you will need to install a vapor barrier and expanded metal lathe. The scratch or base coat is designed to fill up the metal grating and provide a basic shape or contour for the project. Prepare the Vertical Overlay as described in the mixing instructions for “Scratch Coat”. Apply the material using a trowel or spray it through a texture system. Apply enough material to completely cover the metal lathe. Allow the Scratch Coat to dry before applying the Stamp Coat. If the Scratch Coat dries completely, apply a coat of Liquid Co-Polmyer and allow to tack up before proceeding with the stamp coat.

Apply the Stamp Overlay.
Prepare the Vertical Overlay as described in the mixing instructions for “Stamp Overlay”. Apply the material using a trowel or spray it through a texture system. Build up the material to the desired thickness. The Vertical Overlay will build up 12mm to 25mm per application. If a greater thickness of material is required, multiple applications may be needed.
